October brings Global Diversity Awareness Month to remind us of the positive impact a diverse workforce of men and women can have on a society.

More and more, the world becomes a place where cultures and customs come together, and we are uncertain what is appropriate.  Whether a question is taboo or the behavior, there’s opportunity to learn.  When we ask questions and are open to learning, the path to two cultures being enlightened is likely.

Come join us Thursday, October 22nd as we hear from Sarah Dillon on this topic and learn how an authentic commitment to inclusion and diversity drives loyalty and growth.

Accenture has identified four key I&D initiatives for travel companies to tackle in order to enhance engagement, improve customer interactions and earn long-term customer loyalty:

  • Make I&D a business priority
  • Foster true loyalty by boosting I&D practices for all
  • Demonstrate I&D principles through the customer experience
  • Have a quick-response team in place

What matters most to travelers is their personal experiences; thus, companies must be able to tailor their traveler’s experience to build a sense of belonging.

Fostering a sense of belonging for both your employees and guests have never been more important; small changes can have huge, long-lasting returns.

Research shows travelers are willing to act and switch to new travel providers if their current does not demonstrate similar I&D values as their own.
